The Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County has been serving the community for more than 150 years. Now operating over 40 branches in Hamilton County, it is the 12th largest public library in the USA, circulating more than 15 million items each year. The Public Library is a jewel in the crown of the Queen City serving nearly every neighborhood at a local level with programs for all ages including: education, career information, Storytime for children, meeting rooms, passports preparation, tax assistance, online systems, and services of every sort imaginable and of course, books.
We are particularly proud of our two-way partnership with the Public Library. Library representatives serve on our community advisory board providing information, recommendations, and feedback to us about our services and research. The library also opens its doors to our reading specialists who provide reading evaluations to 1st-3rd graders as part of the Library summer camp program for kids who are struggling to read.
