Suzanne Bona is host & executive producer of the nationally syndicated public radio music program Sunday Baroque, heard locally on 90.9 WGUC Cincinnati. She created the program in 1987 at WSHU in her hometown of Fairfield, CT. Suzanne is also a classically trained flutist. From 2003-2012 Suzanne was a member of the Board of Directors of The Literacy Council of Clermont and Brown Counties (LCCBC), an agency which provides free one-on-one tutoring to adults (19+) seeking to improve their literacy skills. From 2002-2012 she also tutored an ESOL student through LCCBC. As a longtime member of the LCCBC’s fundraising and development committee, Suzanne established and organized five annual concerts to benefit The Literacy Council, bringing together prominent professional musicians from Greater Cincinnati to raise funds and awareness of the epidemic of illiteracy in our community. Suzanne and her husband, Ron, are avid readers and for 20+ years have chosen not to have a television in their home.
