Kathleen Habedank, MEd is a Reading Specialist at the Reading and Literacy Discovery Center at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Kathleen received her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Cincinnati in 2004, and began her career as a teacher later that same year. In 2005, Kathleen was hired as a second grade teacher. She continued to teach second grade for 11 years, meanwhile earning her Master of Education from Xavier University in 2010, and a Reading Endorsement from Xavier University in 2016. Before beginning at the RLDC in 2017, Kathleen also taught kindergarten for one year. Kathleen married her high-school sweetheart in 1999, and she and her husband, Matt, have 2 wonderful sons. Kathleen is passionate not only about reading, but also instilling a love of reading in children.
